Celery-Onion Stuffing

Ingredients

1.0 eachOnion, large - chopped
1.0 cupCelery, minced
8.0 TBSPButter
0.5 tspThyme
0.25 tspOregano
2.0 TBSPParsley, minced
0.125 tspSage
8.0 cupBread, cubed

Instructions

  1. Cook onion and celery in butter until softened add herbs. Pour all of the mixture over bread cubes in bowl stir to blend thoroughly. Add salt to taste. Makes enough stufffing for a 10-pound turkey.

    **** For Passover, I'm trying 10 sheets of matzoh, and 2 cups of chicken broth.... using chicken fat instead of the butter too....
