Ingredients   

Salad
5eachApples, Fujipeeled and cored
1tablespoonOnions, Vidaliafinely diced
1Grapes, Red
1Crunchy Almondssee below
2tablespoonVinegar, Cider
3tablespoonOil, Olive EVOO
Crunchy Almonds
1/4cupAlmonds, Blanchedslivers
1tablespoonButter 
1teaspoonSugar

Instructions

1. 

Put the vinegar in a bowl. Peel and core the apples. Cut them into chunks, place in the bowl, and toss to coat.

Slice the grapes in half. Add to the apples.

Finely dice the onions, and add to the apples.

Add some EVOO to the apple mixture, a pinch of salt and toss. Adjust seasonings with a little sugar if needed.

Top with the crunchy almonds.

**** Crunchy Almonds ****
Melt the butter in a pan and add almonds. Toast for a couple minutes till they just start to turn brown. Add the sugar and continue to toast till golden brown.

Turn out onto a silpat and cool.
