Ingredients   

400gramsStarter
3gramYeast, Instant
168gramSugar, Granulated
312 1/2gramsWater
7gramSalt
170gramJust Egg 
340gramsCoconut Milk stirred
1285gramsFlour, All Purpose
77gramShortening, Vegetable

Instructions

1. 

If desired, roll in granulated sugar, powdered sugar or cinnamon sugar.

2. 

Combine the starter, water, and 1/2 the flour and allow to sit for 1 - 2 hours. This gives the starter time to get going.

3. 

Add the remaining ingredients and mix on low till everything is incorporated, then 2nd until gluten is developed (window pane test)

4. 

Allow to raise till double in bulk.

5. 

Refrigerate for four hours or over night.

6. 

Preheat oil to 350 F

7. 

Roll out to 1/4" thickness. Cut as desired.

8. 

Fry till golden brown on one side and turn. Continue frying until colors match. Drain on paper towel.
